These jeans initially appear pure black, but as they are worn and washed, the color fades, revealing brown fading rather than the usual white. This
is achieved by first dyeing the warp threads brown, then rope-dyeing them with black to create "tea-core black threads."
The term "tea-core" might be unfamiliar to those who aren't leather enthusiasts, but it refers to leather with a brown core and a black coating on the surface.
Even leather that initially appears black will reveal the underlying brown as the black coating wears off with wear and use.
Teacore denim was inspired by this tea-core leather.
The use of brown in the weft threads adds depth to the color and provides an accent when rolled up.
These jeans offer the unique fading effect of leather, while still being denim.
The slim tapered fit features a low rise and a clean, tapered silhouette. This is our slimmest silhouette.
