The "Vietnam Jacket" was born in response to requests from American soldiers who served in the Vietnam War in the 1960s . It's said that the inspiration for this jacket came from parachutes and sleeping bags used
as souvenirs upon returning home safely after the war, which were then refashioned into jackets. This jacket, inspired by the theme of parachute troops, features humorous yet powerful embroidery depicting pig soldiers stitching together scraps of fabric with needle and thread. The outer fabric is made of 100% cotton with a distressed finish, giving it a soft, worn-in feel and a vintage feel.
