A flight jacket made of Elemental flannel fabric woven in Niigata Prefecture, a production center for yarn-dyed fabrics. Flannel fabrics woven in this region are characterized by their thickness, softness, and texture due to the different backgrounds of the yarns used, the dyeing, and the weaving. The warp and weft yarns are made of very thick yarns that are used for heavy-weight denim while the warp is twinned to increase its strength, and slub yarn is used for the weft to give the fabric a rough texture. In addition, the woven fabric is lightly brushed to give it the look of wool serge, even though it is made of cotton.

Although based on an A-1 style jacket, it also retains certain elements of a flannel shirt with robust sewing such as triple-stitched rolled seams.
