This item is made of a jersey fabric woven with indigo rope-dyed No. 7 single yarn . Rope dyeing is a dyeing method commonly used for jeans, where the dye does not reach the core of the yarn, leaving the core white. The surface of the yarn fades with washing, and the yarn thins with wear, creating a color gradation. Indigo yarn is prone to color transfer, which stains factory equipment. As a result, there are very few factories that can make this type of fabric, making it an extremely rare product.
This fabric made with #7 thread is slightly thicker than the popular #8 slub nep T-shirt, and is more comfortable to wear. Also, compared to the #16 thread-dyed T-shirt, which is also made with yarn-dyed indigo, the yarn is thicker, so it fades wildly.
