UES's classic chino has been a staple since the 2006 fall/winter collection. These chinos feature a thick fabric texture woven with uneven Zimbabwe cotton yarn and a clean silhouette. The shape is neither too wide nor too narrow, making them a classic and timeless piece. The olive brown color is very versatile and easy to match with work-style outfits. The cuffs are not too narrow, so they can be worn with work boots without any problems.
The fabric is woven on an old-fashioned power loom, and if you look inside each pocket, you can see the red selvedge. UES's original fabric uses yarn-dyed threads, with different colors for the warp and weft. This is why the front and back of the fabric have slightly different colors. It is dyed using reactive dyes, so you can enjoy beautiful fading by using a neutral detergent. Zimbabwe cotton is characterized by its long fiber length, which makes it supple and soft.
