UES designed a 1st type denim jacket using the same fabric as the new 17oz denim 400-Z so that it can be worn as a set. The red selvedge, a sign of vintage, is used lavishly on the front facing, belt, and cuffs.
The fabric used is non-shrink-proof kibata. Therefore, the one-wash product has some twisting in the body and sleeves, but this is intentional. Because the fabric is not shrink-proof, the original softness of the thread (material) and the bulkiness of the fabric are well reflected in the appearance of the product.
